The Veteran's Attic has recently moved to Kingston, Tennessee. We are approximately 30 miles west of Knoxville, Tennessee and are still experiencing moving problems. Comcast is being the normal problem and it will be another week before we have a new phone number and internet service. You can reach us by calling 615-472-8720 and leaving a message or writing us at vann@veteransattic.com. We will get back to you as soon as possible. We check emails and phone messages all during the day. We should have this problem worked out next week and be readily accessable again. We are sorry for the problem but seem to have no control over it. Thank you for understanding.

The Veterans Attic has recently partnered with the JustaJoy.com Family Heirloom Exchange in an effort to match original Civil War items back to families. JustaJoy.com currently offers original antiques and artifacts associated with nearly 40,000 families. Their unique service was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal. December 13, 2011
Some of you do not have the opportunity to attend the various Civil War shows around the country. I have entered photographs my booth at the Nashville (Franklin), Tennessee show held on December 3 & 4, 2011. Many items are not on the web site so if you see something interesting, please call. In November, 2011 the Veteran's Attic opened a booth in the Memory Lane Antique Mall in Harriman, Tennessee. If you are riding on Interstate 40 and need to take a break, stop by. The address is 507 N. Roane Street, Harriman, Tennessee. The phone number is 865-766-9563. The hours are Tuesday - Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm. Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm. The mall is approximately 2 miles north of Interstate 40 at mile marker 347 in downtown Harriman.

On July 7, 2011, Albert Jewell succumbed to the cancer he had been fighting for 15 months. Albert was relic detecting all the way to the end and had a grand find in January, 2011. Read about his find in the next North-South Trader magazine. Albert was a great guy and we will miss him.
